1. Who we are

This website, orthelle.com, is operated by Ethan Bayes, a sole trader trading as Orthelle ("Orthelle", "we", "us"). Email: hello@orthelle.com.

These terms apply when you buy from us as a consumer. Please read them with our Refund policy, Shipping policy and Privacy policy.

2. Our products

The Orthelle Pod is an ultrasonic cleaner for removable dental appliances such as retainers, clear aligners, night guards and dentures. It is intended for routine cleaning only. It does not disinfect, sterilise or treat any condition, and it does not replace advice or care instructions from your dentist, orthodontist or appliance provider. Please read the user manual before use. Product images are for illustration; the colour of the product may vary slightly on different screens.

3. Placing an order

When you place an order you'll receive an email confirming we've received it. The contract between us is formed when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched. If we can't accept your order, for example because the product is out of stock or there's an error in the price, we'll tell you and won't charge you, or will refund you in full.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout. We are not VAT registered, so we don't charge VAT. Delivery charges, if any, are shown before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order and is processed securely by our payment providers; we don't see or store your full card details.

5. Delivery

Delivery times and costs are set out in our Shipping policy. The product is your responsibility once it's delivered to the address you gave us.

6. Cancelling, returns and faulty items

You have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of delivery, plus our 30-night trial, and your rights if an item is faulty. Details are in our Refund policy. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

7. Using the product safely

Only use the Orthelle Pod as described in the user manual. Don't use it with items it isn't designed for, and follow any care instructions from your appliance provider.

8. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to comply with these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach. We're not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, or for business losses. We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights as a consumer.

9. Reviews

We only publish reviews from verified customers, we don't pay or give incentives for positive reviews, and we don't hide negative ones.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page when you placed it.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts where you live. If you live in another country, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws there. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hello@orthelle.com.
