Cookie policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on orthelle.com, which is run on Shopify.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are needed for the site to work; others help us understand how the site is used or show you relevant ads.
Your choices
When you first visit from the UK or EU, a banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies. Nothing except essential cookies is set until you choose. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Cookies we use
| Type | What they do | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Keep items in your cart, run checkout, keep the site secure and remember your cookie choice (for example Shopify's cart, _shopify_essential and _tracking_consent cookies). |
No. The site can't work without them. |
| Analytics | Tell us how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, so we can improve it (Shopify analytics). | Yes |
| Marketing | Measure and personalise adverts, and help Shopify and our apps share order and browsing events with advertising partners. | Yes |
Shopify publishes a full, up-to-date list of the cookies it sets at shopify.com/legal/cookies.
Fonts and third-party content
Our fonts are served from Shopify, not from third-party font services, and we don't embed videos or social media widgets that set their own cookies.
